How to check your Microsoft Office license type

To use MS Office on the QB server, you need to have an appropriate license type.

The requirement for a minimum license version for office to work on our QB server. The license needs to be an E3 or E5 license, or Apps for Enterprise for the user (it cant be a apps for business or business license).

For education licenses it would need to be A3 or A5.

If you're having trouble logging into MS Office on the server, please verify your license to see if its compatible.

 

How to check your license:

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com
2. Sign in with your work/school account
3. Click Subscriptions in the left menu — your active licenses will be listed there
